Central Asian Creative Hooligans Presents
Tentek Jurek is a 93-minute documentary film shot in Almaty as part of ACT I - an experimental live performance that brought together a band, eight solo artists, two creative studios, and a production team of freelancers and dreamers. The name Tentek Jurek translates as Rebellious Heart - and that’s exactly what pulses through every frame. At its core, the film is a question, asked again and again: Senin jüreğin tentek pa? (Is your heart rebellious?)
Directed by Konstantin Syromyatnikov
Produced by Jungl-e Bureau, oi creatives
Created in collaboration with Jungl-e Bureau and oi creative services, the film explores music and its emotional impact on the human heart. It documents the vision and the spirit of everyone behind the scenes - those behind the camera, at the mixing console, and holding the microphone - preserving their energy in a visual form. It is a reflection on the importance of not fearing feelings, emotions, ideas, and the urgings of one’s own heart.
